Our matcha is cultivated without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, ensuring a product that is as kind to the earth as it is to your health. Grown in the mineral-rich soils of Japan's renowned Uji region, our tea plants thrive under carefully managed conditions. Around April, shortly after the first new shoots of the season appear at the tips of the tea plants, the plantations are completely shaded for about 20 days to block direct sunlight. This shading process increases chlorophyll production, enhancing the matcha’s vibrant color, rich umami taste, and nutritional content.
Each leaf is meticulously handpicked, steamed and stone-ground to the most perfect green matcha powder, preserving its delicate flavors and lush green hue. This process ensures that our premium matcha is not only a delight to the senses but also environmentally sustainable and beneficial for your well-being.
